No words


What if
I took your words from you?
And you couldn’t utter “I love you”
& what if our world became one
of show and prove
Could you follow through?
Or would your lack of action
Be my final proof
That there’s no love
Could that be true?

Or would you
Somehow start anew
And show me your love
Until it grew
And neva stopped
‘till our days were through
as all the while –I showed my love for you, too
